Hideo Kojima dévoile ses futurs projets pour les 10 ans de son studio

Kojima Productions, founded by Hideo Kojima, will commemorate its 10th anniversary of independence from Konami with an event titled Beyond The Strand on Sat, Sep 23, 2023, at TOHO Roppongi Hills Cinema in Tokyo. Hideo Kojima will host the event.

The studio has announced plans for a lineup of prestigious guests and insights into future projects. Tickets will be available for purchase via lottery starting Sat, Sep 2, 2023, priced at 7,700¥ (approximately 45€). The event will also be accessible online to a global audience.

The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary of the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain , the last title Kojima developed under Konami. Over the past decade, Kojima has engaged in various projects and artistic collaborations.

While specific updates on Physint , a PlayStation-exclusive project, are unlikely due to its conceptual stage, attention is focused on OD , a horror project in collaboration with Xbox. Officially revealed at the Game Awards 2023, OD features renowned actors and involves filmmaker Jordan Peele. Kojima describes it as a unique experience that may polarize audiences.

Despite exploring new ventures, Kojima remains closely associated with Metal Gear . When asked about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater , a remake by Konami, Kojima expressed no intention to engage with the project. Noriaki Okamura, the current producer of the series, has indicated interest in collaborating with Kojima again.

Since the establishment of Kojima Productions in December 2015, the studio has released Death Stranding and its sequel, both known for their innovative approach to player interaction. Kojima has stated he has no plans to retire in the near future.
