Upon its release in France, Dragons accounted for 73% of new film admissions, attracting 70,000 viewers with an average of 22 attendees per session. The film's previews were also successful, drawing 163,401 spectators and resulting in over 234,000 viewers on its first day. Universal and Dreamworks have announced a new film featuring characters Krokmou and Harold, set for release on Thu, Jun 11, 2027 . This announcement was made at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas in April of this year.
